#74 Bono at the Hollywood Bowl...

Bono singing "Sunday Bloody Sunday" out on the catwalk in front of Bill Clinton.  Kind of a special evening, with special guests (including Stevie Wonder and me!)

#77 Walk the Plank...

Happy Halloween!

#70 New Jersey Night Two...

Or rather morning...we came stocked up with snacks and garbage magazines. We took naps and took breaks from sitting in the sun, but eventually we made it into the inner circle and it was incredible! The first time inside the circle on the 360 tour was complete overload! Edge was walking across a bridge right over your head while Bono was singing his heart out on stage just in front of you, meanwhile Adam was rocking on the outer stage. "where do i look?" "How do i take it all in?" it was a little frantic and a lot exciting! This is Brenda and Chateau. We had a good group with us that night.

#68 Bono exposed...

It's rare that you get to see Bono without his shades. When you do you feel as if you're seeing an unprotected, exposed, softened (although Bono's a softie...I'm implying no less) artist. I love that vulnerability and the sense of openness!

Bono & Edge at the Hollywood bowl last night...

It's rare that you get a full acoustic set from just 1/2 of U2 but it was incredible! They opened with desire (one of my personal favorites), a beautiful version of a man and a woman...and they ended by having a string quartet accompany them for a few songs...staring at the sun! So beautiful to hear that song from pop while standing next to one of my very best friends who I went to five popmart shows with! It was a night of beauty and nostalgia.

#62 Giants Stadium...

Lucky for me. I only had to wait three days. So this was the craziest week of my life. I had had bronchitis for about 4 weeks and had this cough that wouldn't leave. I saw them in Boston on a Sunday...drove straight back to nyc after the show, took a flight on monday morning to Miami for a shoot, spent monday and tuesday working like a dog...no rest for the weary. Flew back to nyc on tuesday night, worked processing film on wednesday and wednesday night got to see the first U2 show at Giants stadium. They were seriously getting me through my week! I had ga tickets to their show on thursday and camped out on friday night for saturday night live tickets because they were the musical guest (and got them!). saw them perform on saturday night and basically have never topped that week for cramming in as much Bono as possible. It blew my mind and left me completely exhausted but a week I'll never forget, regardless.

#59 Backwards...

As you can see, true to the 360 degrees promise, Larry's drum kit rotates as he faces the crowd behind the stage. Truly engaging no matter what seat you have.
